The Cruelest Sport Sells Out!

AUTHOR: | IN: Boxing | COMMENTS: 2 Comments |

The Cruelest Sport has given up trying to be a conscientious website. From now on TCS will concentrate on advertisements, press releases, and P-4-P rankings as per my last few posts below.

In addition, The Cruelest Sport has noticed many boxing writers often write about themselves and how cool and interesting their lives are. I will also write about myself from time to time and have chosen this post as my first foray into biographical self-absorption.

Rocking the leisure suit CA. I too remain haunted by my pre school pic in my leisure suit--the ensemble completed with a Charles Nelson Reilly-esque kerchief which I was assured looked "cowboy" (the 1970 equivalent of "gangster").

Hilarious stuff! Keep up the good work-- the word is getting out. I may not always comment, but I always read. Except this selection-- am I the only one who can't find the "continue reading" link?

Hi WF,

Thanks for checking in.

Thank God no one thought to tuck a kerchief in my collar! That would have been too Mr. Furley, methinks. When the "Big Ones" used to dress me up like that back in the day, I always thought they were going to bury me.

Anyway, once in a while I try to alleviate the grim atmosphere around here with some humor. That never works...Actually, I have the same readers as always...What happens is, every time I get a new reader, I alienate two or three I already had....It's the one step forward, two steps back method....

The "Continue Reading" link is the jump tab at the bottom right of each post. You must have clicked on it to see the photo...I have a feeling some people don't see that tab and think I write 75-word posts, which is, of course, not the truth.
