Hi Nick,

I generally don't root for or against fighters on The Cruelest Sport (to differentiate it from other "fan" pages), but, of course, there are some guys out there who test my attempt at objectivity. Naturally, Mayweather is among them. I usually reply to most posts, not always so timely, because computer fatigue and carpal tunnel set in, but usually I do. Enjoy the fights tonight if you get a chance to see them.

well, win or lose, I just want to see Mayweather get beat up. And if he does win then Pacquiao can knock his ass out. But hey, thanks for taking the time to reply man, I appreciate it!

Hi Nick,

Well, whenever you're ready, poke your head in.

As for Mayweather-Mosley, I haven't put my on my analytical hat yet for it, but right now I lean to Mayweather by decision. I think he can keep Mosley at bay and probably counter with regularity. At 38, and after a long layoff, Mosley might be a little rusty for someone as fast as Mayweather. But this opinion might change as the fight draws nearer...

no buddy, I'm just a new boxing fan who is quite impressed by your work! I might join in some future conversations but I just don't feel that my knowledge of boxing is at that level yet. I mean so far, I haven't even seen boxing live, not on pay-per-view or an actual event. so I have some ways to go. But hey, I enjoy your work, I enjoy the different perspective, I enjoy the fact that you speak your mind and I like people who tell it how it is, or it at least how they think it is.
I don't know if I missed it, but I'd love to know who you're picking for the mayweather-mosley fight?

Hi,

thanks for writing...I hope you are not spam! Seriously, I appreciate your comments very much and I hope you stick around and maybe join in the conversation once in a while. I'll try not to spoil your budding interest in boxing...but, at the very least, I promise to warp it a little....

I'm a 21 year old guy who recently moved to the U.S. from India. I mention that so it will give you an idea that I'm not the usual boxing fan. I'm not a long-time boxing fan either. I started following boxing less than a year ago but since then, I've been reading anything and everything about boxing. Some of the websites I regularly visit are ringtv.com, maxboxing, eastsideboxing, and the rumble blog (not strictly a boxing website).. but i have to say man, sine I discovered your site..I'm quite impressed! I like the way you write and it just stands out. You point out things that no one else does. While I don't really know that much about boxing yet, I'm trying to learn and I find your point of view very entertaining and informative. Keep up the good work!
(I discovered your website about a week ago and by now, I've read almost every single article in your archives)
